What is it?
This website is a collection of patient information handouts on basic joint anatomy and function, joint injuries, and various causes of joint pain. There are multiple handouts for each joint, covering many different joint conditions and basic information.
Our thoughts:
Although nothing can replace a face-to-face conversation when it comes to patient education, these handouts can be excellent additional resources. Directing patients to a trusted website can provide them with more comprehensive information than we have time to provide in clinic, and it can help prevent those cases of “Google hypochondria”!
