For a fee ranging from $9.99/ week to $249.99/ year, members meet weekly with a sleep expert for 20 minutes and design a personalized sleep program to meet their specific goals. Membership also includes access to online tools, a library of articles and a community of other sleepio users. Tested in a placebo controlled clinical trial, Sleepio was found to help 75% of poor sleepers improve their sleep.

Our Thoughts:

Sleepio is a convenient referral source for patients interested in accessing or learning more about sleep interventions. Although the program is marketed as being evidence based, on quick review of their website, the original article citing their study could not be found. Keeping this in mind, a grain of salt should likely be taken with their claims.
