What is it?
This resource is an algorithm published in an article in The American Journal of Sports Medicine that describes how to treat (suspected) stress fractures based on the results of different types of imaging. The article is titled Diagnostic Accuracy of Various Imaging Modalities for Suspected Lower Extremity Stress Fractures: A Systematic Review With Evidence-Based Recommendations for Clinical Practice by Wright and colleagues (2015).

Stress fractures can be difficult to diagnose and similarly difficult to treat.
